Why Hire ME? Answering Your FAQs!
My Research Philosophy
Collaboration is key: More minds equals more ideas, and more ideas can lead to better design decisions. Collaboration allows designers and team members to identify problems early, and ensures that the design process runs smoothly to create the ideal end product for users. Together, we can share ideas and push boundaries!
It's always about the user(s): There is no UX without the user. Whenever I am working on a product, my ultimate goal is to create experiences that are efficient, enjoyable, and easy to use. Conducting research and gathering feedback is essential to the success of a product.
It's okay to say "I don't know!": I embrace humility and open-mindedness. By not always knowing all the answers, I avoid making assumptions that could negatively impact the design process. I'm not afraid to ask questions, as I see it as an opportunity to learn and grow in the field.
Applicable Skills
Ability to embrace guided learning... I'm always eager to gain insights and expertise from leaders, mentors, and teachers and I do not hesitate to ask questions. I strongly believe that it's important to ask questions to ensure that tasks or projects are being done correctly and with quality, and because performing well will essentially help the team and the clients move closer to their goals.
... and independent learning! I take the initiative to explore different solutions to a problem. I always aim to look at different resources to expand my understanding of a certain problem or subject matter. I'm driven to find solutions and dive deeper into areas that both capture my interest and have the potential to help clients. My constant curiosity keeps me motivated and engaged with my work!
I perform quality research. I have conducted research interviews through Google Forms, Zoom, and in-person and collected demographic data, in which I took notes of peoples' responses through voice recordings and spreadsheets to organize my data. I then utilized that data to create personas and user journeys to think of potential application features for current projects. In addition, I have made thorough competitor analyses, where I made detailed notes of the advantages and disadvantages of indirect and direct competitors to mobile apps and websites that my team and I were redesigning. I had prototype and usability tests done through Maze to note how users navigated a website and sought ways to improve the user flow.

I'm a voice for other people. Working in healthcare for many years, majoring in psychology, and taking part in the UX/UI bootcamp has allowed me to empathize with others and address many people's concerns. I have formed professional and trusting relationships with people by ensuring that their concerns were taken note of and that their needs were met.
